What does it mean to be USDA Biobased Certified, and why does it matter?Updated 4 days ago

USDA Biobased Certification means a product's formula has been independently verified to contain a specific percentage of renewable or plant-based materials, rather than relying on a vague sustainability claim. It's one of the ways we back up what we say with a real, third-party standard.

To qualify, a certified formula must contain at least 25% renewable or plant-based materials. We've gone well beyond that minimum: all Dropps Laundry Detergents, Oxi Booster, and Dishwasher Detergents are certified between 55% and 81% biobased, and we're continuing to push that number higher across current and new products.
