What does it mean to be USDA Biobased Certified, and why does it matter?Updated 19 days ago

These days greenwashing and fluffy jargon aimed at making products feel more sustainable is behind every ad you see. Fortunately, we’re not about ambiguous claims or smoke and mirrors. We’ve sought and achieved USDA Biobased Certification for our formulas to ensure you not only feel good about using Dropps, but are actually doing good every time you clean what matters!

What qualifies Dropps products as USDA Biobased Certified? Certification requires that at least 25% of our certified formulations come from renewable or plant-based materials, but we’ve done even more. We’re proud to say all Dropps Laundry Detergents, Oxi Booster, and Dishwasher Detergents are now between 55%-81% biobased, and we will continue striving for the highest biobased content possible in current and new products!

Our goal to seek this certification came from planet (and laundry) lovers just like you, and your feedback will continue to hold an invaluable place in our commitment to creating sustainable and efficacious products. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or further feedback about this certification or any changes you notice in your cleaning routine, send them along to [email protected] - we would love to hear from you!
