How do I remove pod residue from my clothes?Updated 2 months ago

Are you having trouble with your laundry detergent pods not dissolving all the way? Are they leaving residue on your clothing after the wash cycle? We can help!

Why does this happen?

The detergent pod can have trouble dissolving all the way if the washer is overloaded, if the cycle time is too short or if using very cold water for washing clothes. These situations can create conditions where there isn't enough water or time for the pod to fully dissolve. Read about best practices for using Dropps Laundry Pods.

Here’s how to remove detergent residue:

Soak the item in warm to hot water. If any residue has been dried, be sure to soak until the residue noticeably softens or dissolves. This may take longer than unset residue.

Rewash the item on a warm or hot setting and check that the residue is removed prior to drying.
